E-108 Ruptured intracranial aneurysm presenting as isolated acute subdural hemorrhage
ConclusionIn rare cases, ruptured intracranial aneurysms can be associated with isolated subdural hemorrhage. Common treatment options include endovascular coiling and microsurgical clipping. However, endovascular repair is often preferred especially when the patient may not be able to tolerate a surgical procedure, as was the case with this patient. In this case, the patient presented with stroke-like symptoms and was found to have a subdural hemorrhage. E-124 Timing surgery and hemorrhagic complications in endocarditis with concomitant cerebral complications
ConclusionsPatients with radiographic evidence of ischemic stroke from septic emboli can safely undergo valvular surgery for IE without increased risk of symptomatic hemorrhage. E-080 Switching from transfemoral to transradial access during neuroendovascular procedures: A single-center retrospective review of outcome and complications
ConclusionIn the experience of this single-center, the use of the transradial approach for neuroendovascular procedures seems to result in a relatively low rate of access complications and shifting access technique. Safety and effectiveness of microsurgical clipping, endovascular coiling, and stent assisted coiling for unruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysms: a systematic analysis of observational studies
Conclusions While there are limitations to the data, EC resulted in a more favorable clinical outcome, and MC resulted in more robust aneurysm repair, for unruptured ACoA aneurysms. SAC had a higher treatment morbidity risk than EC, without reduction in retreatment rate. All treatments were effective in preventing SAH. The current pooled analysis of treatment outcomes provides a useful aid to pretreatment clinical decision making.

Endovascular thrombectomy in the setting of aortic dissection
Conclusions These three cases suggest that endovascular thrombectomy is feasible and can be done safely and efficaciously in patients with aortic dissections and those with Marfan syndrome, although the risks and benefits should be considered as part of any decision-making process. Given that endovascular therapy for acute stroke is now in many situations part of standard care, further studies will be necessary to delineate more precise inclusion and exclusion criteria.

ConclusionsEndovascular repair of the MCA aneurysm inclosing those with wide neck and complex are not only safe and feasible, but associated with high long-term functional outcome. Incidence and morbidity of craniocervical arterial dissections in atraumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage patients who underwent aneurysmal repair
Conclusions Our study indicates an annual increase in the incidence of CCADs in patients admitted with SAH who require aneurysmal repair. More than two-thirds of these patients that developed CCADs had undergone endovascular coiling repair. A diagnosis of CCAD increased the length of hospital stay but had no statistically significant association with mortality in this patient population.

Use of thromboelastography to tailor dual-antiplatelet therapy in patients undergoing treatment of intracranial aneurysms with the Pipeline embolization device
Conclusions Platelet function testing with TEG altered our DAT induction strategy in a significant number of cases. No hemorrhagic or disabling thromboembolic complications were seen in this series. Future studies should compare methods of platelet function testing and, possibly, no platelet function testing in neurovascular patients undergoing flow diversion and/or stent-assisted treatment of intracranial aneurysms.

Final results of the multicenter, prospective Axium MicroFX for Endovascular Repair of IntraCranial Aneurysm Study (AMERICA)
Conclusions In this prospective, multicenter series of 100 aneurysms treated with Axium MicroFX PGLA (polyglycolic/polylactic acid) coils, 3–6 month angiographic occlusion and clinical outcomes were excellent. This study suggests that Axium MicroFX PGLA coils are safe and effective in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.

Is aneurysm repair justified for the patients aged 80 or older after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage?
Conclusions Better prognosis was obtained when ruptured aneurysm was repaired in the elderly than it was treated conservatively. From the results of this study, we should not hesitate to offer the definitive surgery for the elderly with aSAH.

Early results of the Axium MicroFX for Endovascular Repair of IntraCranial Aneurysm (AMERICA) study: a multicenter prospective observational registry
Conclusions This prospective study of Axium MicroFX coils demonstrates excellent aneurysm occlusion rates. 52% of aneurysms were completely occluded post-procedure. Within the ruptured aneurysm group, post-procedure occlusion rates were 63.6%. Major AE rates were consistent with historical data.

Conclusions In the evaluation of suspected intracranial aneurysm who present with headache with neck pain, a catheter cerebral angiogram not only will clearly define the correct morphology of intracranial aneurysm but also will appropriately identify the presence of life threatening cervical ICA abnormalities. Additionally, presence of an unusual cervical ICA anatomy with DP may warrant further evaluation of intracranial blood vessel of same territory. E-009 Dissecting Ruptured and Symptomatic Intracranial Pseudo-aneurysm who Underwent Endovascular Repair-A Case Series
Conclusions Our series demonstrates that dissecting intracranial aneurysm is predominantly present in the Petro-Cavernous junction of the ICA. Most of them could be treated successfully with good clinical outcome using stent-assisted coiling, stent-remodeling or primary coiling. However, the recurrence rate is extremely common; therefore close early follow-up is necessary for all cases especially those located in Petro-cavernous junction of the ICA.
