O-021 Concurrent middle meningeal artery embolization for treatment of chronic subdural hematomas
This study provides evidence from a multi-institutional cohort that performing concurrent MMAe in the perioperative period as an adjunct to surgical evacuation is a safe and effective means to reduce surgical recurrence in patients with NASHs.Abstract O-021 Table 1Procedural details of 145 patients (149 NASHs) who underwent concurrent MMAe Characteristic Value (range or%) Antiplatelet/anticoagulation use Antiplatelet 46/147* (31) Anticoagulant 29/148* (20) Both 9/148* (6) Prior SDH evacuation 38/149* (26) Perioperative platelet count < 100K 8/148* (5) Procedure details Anesthesia General 63/149* (42) MAC 57/149* (38) C...

E-189 Outcomes of tenecteplase versus alteplase after mechanical thrombectomy in a multiethnic stroke consortium registry
ConclusionIn this prospective, multi-center stroke consortium study, IV TNK in comparison to tPA prior to MT for ischemic stroke resulted in non-inferior outcomes related to angiographic reperfusion and functional status at discharge. These findings compliment the current literature and include a large Hispanic US cohort. Further analysis will include expansion of contributing centers and use of propensity scoring.Abstract E-189 Table 1 and 2Disclosures M. Gaub: None. D. Ramaswamy: None. A. Cardentey: None. S. O-035 Endovascular treatment of cerebral venous thrombosis involving the deep venous system
ConclusionsAlthough deep venous involvement of CVT is uncommon, these patients are at risk of quickly becoming critically ill with an elevated rate of death or dependency. Although these patients may develop stroke, hemorrhage, or neurologic decline prompting consideration of endovascular therapy, the deep cerebral venous system is not easily accessible with catheters due to small lumens and risk of perforation. It has been proposed that deep cerebral veins may have a higher chance of recanalization if venous thrombus burden is reduced in other parts of the dural venous sinuses. Current literature has not fully explored th...

O-042 Complications of DAPT cessation at 3 months versus 6 months after flow diversion of unruptured intracranial aneurysms
ConclusionsOnly 0.6% (n=1) of patients exhibited complications after 3 month follow-up. We conclude that DAPT duration of 3 months after endoluminal flow diversion of unruptured cerebral aneurysms of the anterior circulation is not associated with increased rates of hemorrhagic or thromboembolic complications compared to a traditional 6-month regimen.Disclosures S. E-229 Mechanical thrombectomy in low alberta stroke program early CT score (ASPECTS) in hyperacute stroke - a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionMT in hyperacute stroke patients with low ASPECTS (≤5) may result in ambulatory clinical outcomes with acceptable hemorrhage risk. P-001 Residual in-stent carotid stenosis and cigarette smoking are predictors of restenosis after stenting (CAS)
ConclusionWe present the largest single-center data in the US to date on carotid artery stenosis treated with CAS, and factors associated with restenosis. Residual in-stent carotid stenosis and smoking history were independent predictors. Maximizing treatment of initial stenosis within stent for carefully selected patients and aggressive smoking cessation education are important steps in preventing future carotid restenosis.Abstract P-001 Figure 1Carotid restenosis after carotid arty tenting (%) by categories of degree of residual stenosis after initial procedure (a), and by cutpoint of 29% (b)Disclosures P. E-231 Long-term safety and efficacy of the pipeline embolization device for treatment of small vs. large aneurysms: a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionThe long-term occlusion rate after PED treatment is higher in large vs. small aneurysms. Symptomatic thromboembolic rates with stroke are also higher in large vs. small aneurysms. The difference in the rates of aneurysm rupture and intracranial hemorrhage was insignificant. Although the PED seems a safe and effective treatment for small and large aneurysms, further studies are required to clarify how occlusion rate and morbidity are affected by aneurysm size.Disclosures A. E-262 Pipeline embolization device for the treatment of unruptured intracranial saccular aneurysms: a systematic review and meta-analysis of long-term outcomes
ConclusionThe PED is a safe and effective method to treat intracranial saccular aneurysms: The long-term complete occlusion rate is high (81%), with almost a quarter of the patients persist with residual filling. Even longer follow-ups are expected to show higher occlusion rates.Disclosures A. Ghaith: None. J. Rios-Zermeno: None. E. Greco: None. M. Bydon: None. R. Tawk: None.

Laterality of previous stoke affects endovascular thrombectomy outcomes
Conclusions In this single center retrospective study of thrombectomy patients with chronic supratentorial infarcts, the laterality of the previous stroke significantly affected the likelihood of good clinical outcomes.

Operator assessment versus core laboratory adjudication of recanalization following endovascular treatment of acute ischemic stroke: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusion Operator angiographic reads are statistically significantly higher than core laboratory-read readings following stroke thrombectomy, especially for complete recanalization. These differences should be considered when interpreting reports of angiographic outcomes after thrombectomy.

O-016 Outcomes after endovascular mechanical thrombectomy for low national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS): a multicenter study
ConclusionsMT is an effective and safe treatment for appropriately selected ischemic stroke patients presenting with low NIHSS. Diabetes and prior stroke are predictors of functional dependence at 90 days, and prior stroke is also associated with mortality, suggesting that MT should be offered judiciously to patients with these risk factors. Our findings signal the need for a randomized trial comparing MT versus medical management for LVO patients with low NIHSS.Disclosures I. Abecassis: 2; C; IschemaView (Rapid), Remedy Robotics. E.
