P-030 Mechanical thrombectomy in medium vessel occlusions using the novel aspiration MIVI Q catheters: an international multicenter experience
ConclusionsTreatment of MeVO patients with Q catheters resulted in optimal angiographic and clinical outcomes. Though angiographic results were similar between primary and secondary MeVOs, the first had less severe presentation and better outcomes at 90-days than the latter.Disclosures A. Monteiro: None. L. E-120 First pass efficacy of anterior circulation thrombectomy using the walrus balloon guide catheter
ConclusionThe Walrus BGC achieved more first pass mTICI scores equal or greater than 2B when compared to other guide catheters for anterior circulation mechanical thrombectomy and among those cases also achieved more mTICI 2C and 3 recanalizations.Disclosures A. O-007 First US multicenter experience using the pipeline flex embolization device with shield technology for treatment of intracranial aneurysms - periprocedural outcomes and early safety profile
ConclusionOur study is the first to report the early experience with the newly FDA-approved PED Flex with Shield technology amongst US centers. Our results are comparable with non-US, international studies showing a high technical success rate and safe peri-procedural angiographic and patient outcome. Long-term follow-up will be needed to provide more robust data on angiographic and patient outcomes.Disclosures A. Kuhn: None. J. Singh: None. A. Abdelsalam: None. V. Saini: None. J. Burks: None. G. E-190 Trends in admissions for intracranial dissections in the United States
ConclusionThe prevalence of uIADs among hospitalized patients is scarce, and only 2% of craniocervical dissection-related AIS is due to uIAD. Compared to IAs, patients were more likely younger and male, and uIAD more commonly led to acute ischemic stroke and motor deficits. The trend in age remained stable across the four years analyzed, while the proportion of females increased. There was no trend in the proportion of races among uIADs, however.Disclosures W. Correlation between intracranial vertebral artery stenosis diameter measured by digital subtraction angiography and cross-sectional area measured by optical coherence tomography
Conclusion Measurement of the narrowest diameter was not a reliable predictor of the cross-sectional area of V4 stenosis. Larger studies are therefore needed to develop a new evaluation system based on V4 stenosis.

COVID-19 meets neurointervention on the pages of JNIS
As 2019 came to a close, a novel B-coronavirus, labeled by the World Health Organization as COVID-19, was noted to be spreading in China.1 The COVID-19 virus is an enveloped single-strand, positive-sense RNA, which means that the virus can use its RNA as the template from which to create proteins needed for propagation and, ultimately, spread. The name coronavirus refers to the characteristic crown-like appearance of these viruses that is seen on electron microscopy. By spring 2020, COVID-19 was spreading rapidly throughout the United States and Europe, and neurointerventionalists soon found themselves on the frontline.2 T...

O-005 Comparison of on-label versus off-label treatment of intracranial aneurysms with the pipeline embolization devices
ConclusionIn real-world practice, off-label uses of PED can achieve similar safety and efficacy to on-label uses, though there may be a slightly higher rate of ischemic complications in off-label uses. Expert judgment is a useful supplement to official guidelines when assessing reasonable PED use beyond its approved indications.Disclosures S. Cler: None. D. Lauzier: None. A. P-051 Treatment of acutely ruptured intracranial aneurysms with woven endobridge device: a systematic review
ConclusionsTreatment of acutely ruptured aneurysms with WEB device results in high rates of adequate occlusion, with low perioperative complications, no rebleeding and low recurrence. This device is promising for wide-necked ruptured aneurysms that are not amenable to clipping or coiling, considering its lower need for antiplatelet regimen either during procedure or follow-up.Disclosures A.
