Antenatal corticosteroids in specific groups at risk of preterm birth: a systematic review
Conclusions There is a paucity of evidence on ACS for women who have diabetes. ACS therapy may have benefits in women with chorioamnionitis and is probably beneficial in FGR. There is limited direct trial evidence on ACS efficacy in women undergoing planned CS in the late preterm period, though the totality of evidence suggests it is probably beneficial. Effect of monitoring adherence to regular inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) alone or in combination with a long-acting {beta}2-agonist (LABA) using electronic methods on asthma outcomes: a narrative systematic review
Conclusion Electronic methods improved adherence to inhaled medications in asthma. EMDs appear to be the most effective technology, followed by mHealth. The adherence improvement was associated with a small clinical improvement. There was inconsistent overlapping of terminology describing electronic methods that require standardisation. Data on the cost-effectiveness of electronic devices and their utilisation in severe asthma are lacking and require further research. PROSPERO registration number CRD42022303069.

Metabolic adverse events associated with systemic corticosteroid therapy--a systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions and implications of key findings Systemic CST use is associated with increased risk of metabolic AEs, which differs for each disease group and route of administration. PROSPERO registration number CRD42020161270.

Efficacy and safety of omalizumab in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials
Conclusions This was the first meta-analysis that identified omalizumab significantly improved endoscopic, clinical and patient-reported outcomes in adults with moderate to severe CRSwNP and it was safe and well tolerated. PROSPERO registration number CRD42020207639.

Safety of topical corticosteroids in atopic eczema: an umbrella review
Conclusions We found no evidence of harm when TCS were used intermittently ‘as required’ to treat flares or ‘weekend therapy’ to prevent flares. However, long-term safety data were limited. PROSPERO registration number CRD42018079409.

Bone mineral density and fracture risk with long-term use of inhaled corticosteroids in patients with asthma: systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions ICS use for ≥12 months in adults or children with asthma was not significantly associated with harmful effects on fractures or bone mineral density.
