Digital medical education and students ’ mental health: effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany
This study aims to examine the consequent changes in medical school curricula alongside students’ mental and physical health. It is observed that 549 medical students (response rate: 79.7%) from 31 of 37 public medical schools in Germany completed a cross-sectional online survey. Students answered questions regarding teaching, internet use, COVID-19 and well-being. A multivariate logistic regression examined factors associated with depressed mood, insomnia and headache. Parents attitudes to medical education on paediatric ward rounds
Conclusion This research demonstrates parents support education of medical students and junior doctors during ward rounds, provided ward-based learning is not perceived to compromise care. Intentional communication with parents regarding the teaching process, including timing and location of teaching, helps improve engagement and parental satisfaction.

Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Medical Education during Inpatient Internal Medicine Rounds
CONCLUSIONS: This study evaluated Internal Medicine team member focus groups to describe how the COVID-19 pandemic affected medical education during rounds.
