Barriers and facilitators in providing home-based rehabilitation for stroke survivors with severe disability in the UK: an online focus group study with multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams
Conclusions Collaboration and partnership working is important in the delivery of rehabilitation for stroke survivors with severe disability. Commissioners need to be aware that cross-agency multidisciplinary expertise is required, if rehabilitation opportunities are to be realised and existing health inequalities addressed.

Stroke resource utilisation and all-cause mortality in Thailand 2017-2020: A retrospective, cross-sectional study
Conclusion The highest mean cost per patient was found in patients with haemorrhagic stroke. Receiving rehabilitation was associated with lower cost and mortality risk. Rehabilitation and disability outcomes should be improved to ensure an enhancement of health outcomes and efficient use of resources.

Measuring the burden of comorbidity for ischaemic heart disease and four common non-communicable diseases in Iran, 1990-2017: a modelling study based on global burden of diseases data
Conclusion Of the four comorbidities studied, the highest burden was due to the coexistence of MDD with IHD. Our results highlight the importance of addressing the burden of comorbidities when studying the burden of IHD or any other non-communicable disease.
