Factors Influencing Hospital Length of Stay After Robotic Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting ORIGINAL ARTICLES: ADULT CARDIAC
Conclusions Multiple variables affect LOS after TECAB. Older patients, patients on hemodialysis, patients with cerebrovascular disease, and those with higher general risk scores should expect prolonged LOS. Intraoperative surgical difficulties and conversion to open coronary artery bypass grafting also lead to extended LOS. Postoperative events that are known to prolong LOS in open coronary artery bypass grafting also prolong LOS after TECAB.

Mid-Term Follow-up of Minimally Invasive Multivessel Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: Is the Early Learning Phase Detrimental?
Conclusions: Minimally invasive coronary artery bypass grafting can be safely initiated as a minimally invasive, multivessel alternative to open surgical coronary revascularization, with excellent mid-term results. Learning phase effects were not observed with regard to overall procedural safety, but rather in terms of improved freedom from conversion to sternotomy and from repeat revascularization.

Early and mid-term outcomes of minimally invasive mitral valve repair via right mini-thoracotomy: 5-year experience with 129 consecutive patients
ConclusionsEarly and mid-term results of MIMVr were satisfactory, with low rates of perioperative morbidity and recurrent MR, as well as reoperation and death. Furthermore, the protocols for patient selection and surgical approach were considered to be appropriate.
