OBJECTIVE: To better characterize the clinical presentation of functional movement disorders. BACKGROUND: Functional (psychogenic) movement disorders are receiving greater attention as valid and treatable neurologic disorders. Unfortunately, the often long list of complaints with variable presentations may hamper timely diagnosis and treatment.
