O-035 Endovascular treatment of cerebral venous thrombosis involving the deep venous system
ConclusionsAlthough deep venous involvement of CVT is uncommon, these patients are at risk of quickly becoming critically ill with an elevated rate of death or dependency. Although these patients may develop stroke, hemorrhage, or neurologic decline prompting consideration of endovascular therapy, the deep cerebral venous system is not easily accessible with catheters due to small lumens and risk of perforation. E-020 Flow diversion for intracranial aneurysms: intracranial hemorrhage and thromboembolic complications in a multi-center cohort of 200 patients
ConclusionComplication rates in our study are comparable to previous reports, and our findings further support the general safety and efficacy of flow diversion. Despite a relatively large population, the low number of ICH and TE complications limit statistical significance. Further study of complications in more robust samples are needed. E-025 The rate and predictors of 30-day readmission in patients treated for cerebral aneurysms: a large single-center study
ConclusionIn our study, risk factors for 30-day readmission were increasing BMI, cancer, increasing aneurysm width, and anticoagulation use. ConclusionsPost-market surveillance is an important to guide patient counselling and identify adverse events and device problems that were not identified in initial trials. E-132 A retrospective analysis of stroke code specificity in predicting acute ischemic events
ConclusionsThis retrospective analysis of stroke codes at MGUH during a 6-month period was 29% specific in predicting AIS. This is significantly lower than what was found in previous studies. Of stroke mimics, TME was the major etiology encompassing 43.6% of cases. The results of our study suggest additional stroke education may be needed for non-neurologists and ancillary staff to appropriately recognize stroke symptoms to better improve the utilization of hospital resources and provide appropriate and efficient care.Disclosures A. ConclusionsMMD is presented most commonly with ischemic stroke in the pediatric age group and with hemorrhagic stroke in the adult age group. MMD-associated intracranial aneurysms frequently occur in patients presenting with hemorrhagic unilateral MMD and are associated with an extremely high rate of rupture. E-080 Endovascular stenting for idiopathic intracranial hypertension: a single-institution experience
Conclusion IIH is an uncommon condition with presenting symptoms that are relatively nonspecific. Though medical therapy is first-line, an important subset of patients who experience IIH secondary to dural sinus stenosis are commonly refractory to medications alone. DSS is becoming a more commonly used therapy for treatment of this subpopulation. Patient-reported outcome measures for patients with cerebral aneurysms acquired via social media: data from a large nationwide sample
Conclusions Despite this novel study design, we obtained results comparable to prior studies. These results suggest that many patients with ruptured cerebral aneurysms, regardless of whether they are >2 years after the event and/or free of physical impairment, struggle with a poor quality of life. The latency, scale, and low cost of this study design may accelerate future cerebral aneurysm PROM research.

Conclusions In the evaluation of suspected intracranial aneurysm who present with headache with neck pain, a catheter cerebral angiogram not only will clearly define the correct morphology of intracranial aneurysm but also will appropriately identify the presence of life threatening cervical ICA abnormalities. Additionally, presence of an unusual cervical ICA anatomy with DP may warrant further evaluation of intracranial blood vessel of same territory.
