Relationship between cerebral vasospasm vascular territory and functional outcome after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage
Conclusions In aneurysmal SAH, left-sided vasospasm is associated with worse discharge functional status. At 6 months, both ACA and BA vasospasm are associated with unfavorable functional status.

Bridging thrombolysis improves survival rates at 90 days compared with direct mechanical thrombectomy alone in acute ischemic stroke due to basilar artery occlusion: a systematic review and meta-analysis of 1096 patients
Conclusions In patients with AIS due to BAO, bridging IVT was associated with lower mortality rates at 90 days, compared with direct MT. There were no improved functional outcomes or increased sICH or SAH between both arms, However, patients with LAA benefited from bridging IVT, with better functional outcomes.

P124/272 Initial encounter with a cutting-edge mobile head CT scanner (Somatom On.site) in a neuro-intensive care unit
ConclusionThe study demonstrates the clinical effectiveness of modern mobile CT scanners in neurointensive care units. The Somatom On.site provides sufficient image quality, saves time and supports timely decision making. The integration of mobile CT scanners in NICUs improves patient care and workflow. Prospective studies are needed to validate these findings and assess the long-term impact in NICUs and other units, such as stroke units.Disclosure of InterestCK serves as consultants for Acandis GmbH (Pforzheim, Germany) and proctor for MicroVention Inc./Sequent Medical (Aliso Viejo, CA, USA).

E-078 Advancement in coil technology for treatment of brain aneurysms
ConclusionThis study concludes that is SMART coil system is safe and efficacious for the use in Endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms. The smart coil system is promising in the treatment of wide spectrum of intracranial aneurysms. The result of follow up angiographic data should reflect the high packing density and will be published when completed.Disclosures S. Khairandish: None. S. Pakbaz: None. M. McManus: None. G. E-108 Endovascular treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke due to underlying arterial dissection: a nationwide analysis
ConclusionsDespite a similar prevalence among patients admitted for AIS, CA dissections are associated with a higher rate of endovascular intervention and poorer short-term outcomes compared to VA dissections. This study provides essential epidemiologic and outcome data for the cerebrovascular neurosurgeon.Abstract E-108 Table 1Comparison of clinical characteristics and outcomes among patients presenting with acute ischemic stroke due to carotid or vertebral artery dissections Characteristic Vertebral Artery Dissection, N = 2,562 Carotid Artery Dissection, N = 2,789 p-value1 Age (years), Mean (SD) 53 (17) 57 (17) <0.00...

E-126 Multicenter flow diversion in 200 patients for treatment of intracranial aneurysms
ConclusionThis report characterizes patient demographics, aneurysm characteristics, procedure complications and long-term angiographic and clinical outcomes for a large patient population across multiple medical centers treated with flow diversion. Overall, procedures resulted in a high rate of occlusion and low rate of serious complications. Continued iterative outcomes analysis is warranted particularly as flow diversion technology evolves. Despite diverse hospital settings, differences in presentation, patient characteristics and the inclusion of off-label treatments, flow diversion procedures remained safe and effectiv...

E-189 Outcomes of tenecteplase versus alteplase after mechanical thrombectomy in a multiethnic stroke consortium registry
ConclusionIn this prospective, multi-center stroke consortium study, IV TNK in comparison to tPA prior to MT for ischemic stroke resulted in non-inferior outcomes related to angiographic reperfusion and functional status at discharge. These findings compliment the current literature and include a large Hispanic US cohort. Further analysis will include expansion of contributing centers and use of propensity scoring.Abstract E-189 Table 1 and 2Disclosures M. Gaub: None. D. Ramaswamy: None. A. Cardentey: None. S. P-028 Impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the intracranial aneurysm treatment and associated outcomes: a propensity score matching study
Conclusions and RelevanceThe COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the healthcare system and has led to changes in the treatment of various neurological conditions, including ICAs. The pandemic resulted in a shift in the treatment of SAH and an increase in endovascular procedures over open surgical clipping. COVID-19 infection has been associated with an increased risk of ischemic stroke and worsened outcomes for stroke patients. Further research is necessary to understand the long-term effects of the pandemic on the healthcare system and patient outcomes.Disclosures A. Ghaith: None. M. Ghanem: None. E. Greco: None....

E-020 Flow diversion for intracranial aneurysms: intracranial hemorrhage and thromboembolic complications in a multi-center cohort of 200 patients
ConclusionComplication rates in our study are comparable to previous reports, and our findings further support the general safety and efficacy of flow diversion. Despite a relatively large population, the low number of ICH and TE complications limit statistical significance. Further study of complications in more robust samples are needed. However, the descriptive understanding of these complications can help direction future investigations.Abstract E-020 Table 1ICH and TE Stratifications ICH Non-ICH p n=7 n=193 Hypertension 7 (100%) 97 (50.3%) 0.035 Currently Smoking 3 (42.9%) 28 (14.5%) 0.319 Mean Procedural Fluoroscopi...

First-line thrombectomy strategy for distal and medium vessel occlusions: a systematic review
Conclusions Our systematic review supports the proposition that MT is a safe and effective treatment option for DMVOs. Additionally, while the SR+ASP group had consistently high rates of clot clearance and good neurological outcomes, the SR and SR+ASP groups also had higher rates of subarachnoid hemorrhage, highlighting the need for improved DMVO treatment devices.
