Immediate effect of standing and sit-to-stand training on postural vertical for backward disequilibrium following stroke: a case report
CONCLUSION: Standing and sit-to-stand/stand-to-sit training aimed at shifting center of gravity and subjective postural vertical in the anterior direction appeared to improve backward disequilibrium and correct tilt to the anterior direction for this participant. Rehabilitation for a complex patient following cerebellar hemorrhage and obstructive hydrocephalus: A case report.
Abstract BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Inpatient rehabilitation facilities play an integral role in patient progress post-stroke. Cerebellar hemorrhages are an infrequent type of stroke and are therefore less discussed in the literature; however, inpatient rehabilitation continues to be an integral part of patient recovery.
