Neural correlates of action recognition and object knowledge in neurodegenerative disease (P6.196)
CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that action recognition is supported by a distributed left lateralized functional network that exhibits dissociable roles. In particular, left mid-posterior temporal and inferior parietal areas seem critical for representation of the gestural component of action recognition while frontal inferior regions may support cognitive control requirements common to all 3 tests.Disclosure: Dr. santos has nothing to disclose.
