Should targeted temperature management be used in cardiogenic shock patients? Systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The present analysis shows no significant benefit of TTM in patients with CS. Moreover, no statistically significant increase of the incidence of adverse effects was found. However, further randomized studies with higher sample size and greater validity are needed to determine if TTM is worth implementing in CS patients.PMID:36200546 | DOI:10.5603/CJ.a2022.0093

Dual antiplatelet therapy after percutaneous coronary intervention in patients at high bleeding risk: A systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Among HBR patients implanted with new-generation DES, short DAPT was associated with reduced risk of major bleeding without significantly increasing the risk of definite or probable ST and MI in comparison with standard DAPT.PMID:35912712 | DOI:10.5603/CJ.a2022.0071

Outcomes and predictive value of the 2MACE score in patients with atrial fibrillation treated with rivaroxaban in a prospective, multicenter observational study: The EMIR study
CONCLUSIONS: In clinical practice, AF patients anticoagulated with rivaroxaban exhibit a low risk of events. 2MACE score acts as a modest predictor of a higher risk of adverse outcomes in this population. 2MACER did not significantly increase the ability of 2MACE to predict MACE.PMID:35621092 | DOI:10.5603/CJ.a2022.0044
