Promoting Locomotor Learning with Spinal Direct Current Stimulation- Pilot Data (S28.005)
CONCLUSION: After interim analysis, we repowered the study and determined that 14 additional healthy volunteers per group will be needed, to achieve a statistical significance of 97.5 percent and a power of 0.80. Results gathered at this stage will allow us to further assess the effect of tDCS at different stages of locomotor learning, including online, offline, and total learning-- necessary for application in future neurorehabilitation trials involving patients with spinal cord injury and stroke.
