Predictors of acute kidney injury after coronary artery surgery in Jordanians
Conclusion Emergency coronary surgery, mitral regurgitation, prolonged inotropic support, and stroke or transient ischemic attack are independent predictors of acute kidney injury following coronary bypass surgery. Further studies involving patients with isolated coronary bypass surgery as well as valve and combined surgeries may be necessary to complete our understanding of this subject.

Conclusions In mAVR, the CK device was associated with reduced aortic cross-clamp time while providing equivalent clinical outcomes. Larger studies are needed to confirm the efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness of the CK device in minimally invasive aortic valve surgery.

Early and midterm outcomes after off pump coronary artery bypass surgery
ConclusionOPCAB can safely be performed with satisfactory short and mid-term outcomes. Further corroborative studies from different regions of the country or a multi-center study will help to establish the suitability of the technique in Indian patients.
