Association of vitamin D level and vitamin D deficiency with risk of preeclampsia: A systematic review and updated meta-analysis
Because of the immune modulatory effects of vitamin D3 in preeclampsia, we intend to have a systematic review and meta-analysis on association of both 25-hydroxy vitamin D (25-OHD) level (parametric approach) and 25-OHD deficiency (non-parametric approach) with preeclampsia. As well, for the parametric part, we used receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve model. (Source: Taiwanese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology)

The role of α2,3-linked sialylation on clear cell type epithelial ovarian cancer
Our previous study has shown that high expression of α2,3-sialytransferase type I was associated with advanced stage serous type epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC). The aim of the current study further attempts to evaluate the altered α 2,3-sialylation on the behavior of clear cell type EOC (C-EOC). (Source: Taiwanese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology)

A case-control study to compare the outcome of women treated by two minimally invasive procedures-ultraminilaparotomy myomectomy and laparoscopic myomectomy
Ultraminilaparotomy myomectomy (UMLT-M with less 4  cm transverse skin incision) and conventional 3-port wound laparoscopic myomectomy (LM) approaches were proposed as alternative minimally invasive procedures in the management of women with symptomatic uterine myomas but few studies have compared the outcomes of both procedures. The association between in  vitro fertilization outcome and the inflammatory markers of complete blood count among nonobese unexplained infertile couples
The purpose of our study was to evaluate whether the inflammatory parameters of complete blood count (CBC), including white blood cell (WBC), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte-ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte-ratio (PLR), and mean platelet volume (MPV), had potential roles in the etiopathogenesis of unexplained infertility (UI) among nonobese women. We also aimed to investigate whether there could be an association between these markers and in  vitro fertilization (IVF) success among nonobese women with UI.
