Semantic processing in children 0 to 6 years of age: an N400 analysis
This study consists of a literature review about the semantic processing in children 0 to 6 years of age and an N400 data analysis. Twenty-four studies that met the eligibility criteria were found. Most studies aimed to investigate and characterize the electrophysiological patterns of younger children as compared to those found in older children and adults. A large variability of employed experimental tasks was found, showing that there are various investigation alternatives in this perspective. Quality of life after orthognathic surgery: a case report
ABSTRACT This case study aims to describe the effects of orthognathic surgery on the quality of life of a patient with class III dentofacial deformity. The protocols Oral Health Impact Profile, short version, and Orthognathic Quality of life Questionnaire were applied before and after orthognathic surgery to measure the quality of life of a subject. The data were collected from a clinical case report. Drug and alcohol in pregnancy and stuttering - a speech-language pathology case report
In this study, clinical history data are presented as well as pre and post-assessment tests (Speech and Language) and the description of an interventional process of a six-year child. Morphofunctional analysis of the stomatognathic system in conventional complete dentures users from the Integrated Health Center
This study aimed at characterizing the speech and chewing of users of conventional complete dentures (CCD) before and after speech therapy and prosthetic functional adaptation. Study on viscosity modification of human and formula milk for infants with dysphagia
Conclusion: the findings of this study demonstrate the need for different concentrations of the thickening agent for human milk and infant formula. The role of auditory temporal cues in the fluency of stuttering adults
Conclusion: the results demonstrated that delayed auditory feedback promoted fluency in spontaneous speech of adults who stutter, without interfering in the speech rate.
