Alzheimer’s disease: the unique experience of family caregivers
This study verified the experience of care from the perspective of family caregivers of older adults with AD from the qualitative approach. The phenomenological method proposed by Giorgi and Sousa (2010) was adopted. Nine family caregivers (4 wives and 5 daughters) participated during dif ferent stages of the disease and after death. Sabina Spielrein’s theoretical views in her letter to Carl Gustav Jung (1917-1918)
This article aims at analyzing the concepts of symbolism and subconscious that Spielrein presents in her letters to Jung from the period mentioned above. It is argued that, with these concepts, Spielrein further develops the theory she had begun to formulate in her early publications and attempts to integrate her own hypotheses with some ideas of Freud and Jung. This study approaches the existence and/or frailty of the migrant ’ s coping resources, considering that the conditions of the destination country sometimes reiterate the helplessness experienced in the country of origin. Political trends in drive metapsychology
This article presents a hypothesis about the existence of unconsciously determined political trends, from the concept of drive. The hypothesis is justified by the recognition of the phenomenon of “ reproduction of what one intends to fight against ” and is developed in terms of repetition.
