Isolation and structure determination of new saponins from Pulsatilla cernua based on an NMR-guided method and their anti-proliferative activities
In this study, all thirty-six compounds were investigated for the anti-proliferative activities against five human cancer cell lines (A549, MDA-MB-231, SK-Hep-1, SNU638, and HCT116). Among them, compound 2 exhibited moderate cytotoxicity to the MDA-MB-231 and SK-Hep-1, and the IC50 values are from 61.9 μM to 66.3 μM.
