TLC ‐MALDI‐TOF‐MS‐based identification of flavonoid compounds using an inorganic matrix
ConclusionTLC ‐MALDI‐TOF‐MS using an inorganic matrix enabled the analysis of anthocyanins in positive mode and of flavonols, flavanols, dihydrochalcones and phenolic acids in negative mode, reducing adduct, aggregate forms giving thus simple and reliable spectra for the dereplication approach of flavonoids in complex samples. Semi ‐preparative isolation and purification of phenolic compounds from Achyrocline satureioides (Lam) D.C. by high‐performance counter‐current chromatography
ConclusionThis is the first time that high purity ACB and six other flavonoids were obtained fromA. satureioides inflorescences by HPCCC. These excellent results reveal the potential and versatility of HPCCC as a technique to produce different types of products from this plant species on a semi ‐preparative scale: enriched fractions, new metabolites, or high purity compounds. Metabolomic study of bioactive compounds in strawberries preserved under controlled atmosphere based on GC ‐MS and DI‐ESI‐QqQ‐TOF‐MS
ConclusionsGood correlation coefficients were obtained between discriminant metabolites and fruit quality parameters. These results suggest that treated strawberries under CA could be considered as bioactive healthy compounds, suggesting that treated strawberries under CA could be used as raw material for the preparation and formulation of food supplements and nutraceutical products.
