Giant gastrointestinal stromal tumor of the proximal ileum
We report a case of a 65-years-old male patient who presented a mass in the proximal ileum found by exploratory laparotomy. Hyperplastic dental follicle: case report

Concomitance of Aids and cysticercosis in autopsies
The objective of the present study was to report the concomitance of cysticercosis and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (Aids) in autopsied patients at a school hospital in Minas Gerais State, Brazil. Case report of staghorn calculi in a pediatric patient
This article reports a case of large volume asymptomatic staghorn calculus, and a brief revision of this rare pathology is done. A two-yearold male patient was diagnosed with staghorn calculus and hydronephrosis in the left kidney. The patient underwent surgical therapy with pyelolithotomy, pyeloplasty and placement of a double-J catheter, without complications. Staghorn calculi occupy the pelvis and renal calyces. Congenital granular cell epulis: case report and differential diagnosis
ABSTRACT A 16-days-old female patient exhibiting an exophytic nodular lesion located at anterior maxilla on the alveolar ridge since birth. The clinical hypothesis of congenital granular cell epulis (CGCE) was established, and the patient underwent excisional biopsy. Microscopically, a sheet-like proliferation of eosinophilic cells with granular cytoplasm was observed in a stroma of vascularized fibrous connective tissue. The immunohistochemical analysis for S100 evidenced the absence of immunostaining. Automated immature granulocyte count in patients of the intensive care unit with suspected infection
Conclusion: RI of IG% and IG# showed high sensitivity and are useful in screening for infection in ICU patients. Assessment of cytological and biochemical parameters stability in cerebrospinal fluid
