Perceiving Attractiveness and the Increasing Diversity in Facial Plastic Surgery
According to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the percentage of Asian American, Latin American, and African American patients requesting cosmetic procedures has increased by 200%, 323%, and 340%, respectively, from 1999 to 2001.
