Clinical and microbial oral health status in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus
ConclusionsThe results imply that youngsters with T1DM have a lower level of oral hygiene and are potentially at a higher risk of future oral disease, particularly when their metabolic disorder is uncontrolled. Amalgam phase down: baseline data preceding implementation in Nigeria
ConclusionAmalgam fillings constituted nearly 60% of the restorations of carious teeth. Training of dental students in placement of non ‐mercury alternatives to amalgam and Minimum Intervention Dentistry needs to be emphasized in dental schools. Dental caries in a South African adult population: findings from the Cape Town Vascular and Metabolic Health Study

Effectiveness of fluoride varnish on caries in the first molars of primary schoolchildren: a 3 ‐year longitudinal study in Guangxi Province, China
