VEGF-A Is Associated With the Degree of TILs and PD-L1 Expression in Primary Breast Cancer
Conclusion: VEGF-A expression in breast cancer may reflect PD-L1 expression in the tumor. VEGF-A may act as a negative biomarker of TILs in PD-L1-positive breast cancer. Our results suggest that VEGF-A may be predictive of immunological features and may serve as a useful biomarker for immuno-targeting therapy in patients with breast cancer. (Source: In Vivo)

Prognostic and Clinical Implications of WNK Lysine Deficient Protein Kinase 1 Expression in Patients With Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Conclusion: In summary, WNK1 is overexpressed at the mRNA and protein levels, and correlated with poor prognosis. Thus, WNK1 expression could potentially be used as a biomarker in HCC prognosis. (Source: In Vivo)

Clinicopathological Characteristics of Squamous Cell Carcinoma and High-grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesions Involving Endocervical Polyps
Conclusion: The prevalence of HSIL and SCC involving ECP in our cohort was similar to the rates found in previous studies. The presence of residual HSIL in nonpolypoid cervical tissue regardless of the polypectomy margin involvement suggests that conization or hysterectomy is needed for diagnostic or treatment purposes. Tau, S100B and NSE as Blood Biomarkers in Acute Cerebrovascular Events
Conclusion: For the diagnosis of TIA vs. AIS, blood T-tau and S100B concentrations discriminated only modestly. Additionally, groups were not separable after measuring of T-tau and S100B levels in the blood. T-tau and S100B concentrations correlated with the infarct size, but were not alone predictive for functional outcome at 3 months. (Source: In Vivo)

Fluoroscopic Intraoperative Images Produce Higher Image Quality and Decrease Total Radiation Exposure Compared to Radiographic X-ray Images in Patients After Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty
Conclusion: We observed significantly better image quality in fluoroscopic images than in radiographic X-ray images. The observed radiation exposure is lower than those expected for radiographic X-ray images. We conclude that fluoroscopic images can produce higher image quality and decreased radiation exposure.
