The gut microbiota of hand, foot and mouth disease patients demonstrates down ‐regulated butyrate‐producing bacteria and up‐regulated inflammation‐inducing bacteria
ConclusionThe dysbiosis of gut microbiota of the HFMD cases included a reduction of butyrate ‐producing bacteria and an up‐regulation of inflammation‐inducing bacteria. These may have impaired the intestinal biological mucosal barrier and host immune functions, promoting the invasion of the enterovirus. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. Evaluation of screening for coeliac disease in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis
ConclusionWe found a point prevalence of CD close to previous described prevalence in the general population of Swedish children. Therefore, general screening for CD in children with JIA is not supported by our data. However, this study shows that asymptomatic CD in children with JIA may be found by screening. The effect of caffeine loading on cerebral autoregulation in preterm infants
ConclusionWe observed a reduced correlation between MAP and TOI from near ‐infrared spectroscopy following caffeine administration. These findings suggest an acute enhanced capacity for cerebral autoregulation following a loading dose of caffeine in preterm infants, contributing to our understanding of the physiological impact of caffeine therapy. This article is protected by copyright.
