The Big Sibling Program: Impact of a Medical Student-Resident Mentorship Program During the Surgery Clerkship
Medical students often identify surgical residents as their primary source of teaching and mentoring. However, residents may underestimate their influence on student career decision making. To enhance this relationship, we created a Big Sibling mentorship program and studied the program effects.
