Reducing Operating Room Cost: Comparing Attending and Surgical Trainee Perception Regarding the Implementation of Supply Receipts

The implementation of operating room supply receipts was well received by faculty and trainees and led to a push for cost-sustainable practices. However, trainees do not yet feel confident discussing these issues. A greater emphasis on cost reduction strategy in curricula and in the practices of our institution is needed.
