The Influences of Experiential Learning on Radiation Therapy Students' Knowledge, Attitudes and Beliefs about Palliative and End-of-Life Care

Palliative care is often perceived as having a negative stigma because of its historic association in end-of-life care. Although there appears to be a high level of interest by radiation therapy students to become involved with palliative and end-of-life care, students often lack a true understanding of what palliative care is and express a lack of confidence and uneasiness when interacting with palliative and end-of-life patients.
