Does Advanced Trauma Life Support Training work? 10-Year Follow Up of Advanced Trauma Life Support India Program

Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) India surveyed providers certified from 2009-2019. Among 2,500 providers surveyed, 1,030 (41.2%) responded. Profound benefits in knowledge (98%), psychomotor (96%), and organization skills (97%) of trauma management were reported, lasting beyond 2 years. ATLS improves trauma management in low and middle-income countries, especially in non-trauma system settings.
