View: Buy out Covaxin ’s Intellectual Property Rights, and make its know-how available as a global public good

The more the virus continues to multiply in the world ’s populations, the greater the likelihood of mutations that produce virulent strains against which existing vaccines prove impotent. The goal should be for a global race towards mass immunity, overtaking the ability of the virus to mutate into many more forms than have already been identified.
