Record Levels of Infections and Deaths Return to Rural Counties

Analyzes new COVID-19 infection rates between January 3-9, 2021, finds record numbers of infections and COVID-related deaths in both rural and urban counties. Identifies the highest rates of infection in the upper South, the Southwest, and lower portions of Great Lakes states.
