Stanford professor takes job as Pfizer's top medical exec

Stanford University associate professor Dr. Aida Habtezion is the new chief medical officer at drug giant Pfizer Inc. Habtezion replaces 12-year Pfizer veteran Dr. Mace Rothenberg, who said via Twitter that Monday was his final day as chief medical officer. He had been in that job for two years. The players have been known since Habtezion took a leave of absence from Stanford in November.
