U.S. Federal Trade Commission approves Mylan and Upjohn merger

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission approved a proposed consent order from Mylan N.V. and Pfizer Inc. that would see the former combine with Pfizer's Upjohn Inc. under a new name of Viatris Inc. This approval concluded the FTC's review of the plan and all involved parties have now obtained the necessary antitrust clearances to proceed with the proposed sale.
