Red-Zone Report: New Rural Infections Jump 30% in Last Week

Reports on new coronavirus infections, finds 909 rural counties are listed as red-zones, or having 100 or more new cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 residents. Also finds that new deaths from COVID-19 increased 20 percent. Includes an interactive map of all U.S. counties' infection rates between September 13 to September 19, 2020.
