Author ’s Reply to a Letter to the Editor: Associated Morbidity After the Percutaneous Release of the Medial Collateral Ligament for Knee Arthroscopy

We would like to offer our sincere apologies to Dr. ’s Bega-Croker, Claret-Garcia, Sastre-Solsona, Montanan-Burillo, and Cambalia-Aleu for not fully recognizing their summary description explaining the location where the percutaneous medial collateral ligament (MCL) release was performed in their 2016 paper entitled, “The Effect of Percutaneous R elease of the Medial Collateral Ligament in Arthroscopic Medial Meniscectomy on Functional Outcome.”1 It is possible that in analyzing the included papers of our systematic review, we focused too much on the Materials and Methods sections when determining whether the various authors provided descr iption of the location of their release.
