ABQ construction company, Army Corps of Engineers to remodel old hospital for COVID-19 patients

New Mexico health officials anticipate a need for more hospital beds to care for an increasing number of patients infected with the COVID-19 virus. To meet this need, Albuquerque-based Weil Construction Inc. will partner with the Albuquerque District of the Army Corps of Engineers to begin "emergency construction" at the old Lovelace hospital at the Gibson Medical Center.
