How work-from-home is working out for one of Philadelphia's largest employers

Independence Blue Cross was probably a little more prepared than most large employers in Philadelphia to handle the work-for-home mandate widely instituted during the coronavirus crisis. Now, a few weeks into having its staff transition out of the IBC tower in Center City and into remote work, company employees are collectively interacting through, on average, 2,000 video conference calls a day.
