16. Weight Gain in Adolescents with the Etonogestrel Implant
Concern about weight gain is a commonly perceived side-effect of highly effective contraceptives, particularly in adolescents. To determine if initiation and use of etonogestrel implants is associated with differential weight gain in overweight or obese patients compared those with normal weight.
