Covid-19 in India: Cautious government involves private sector in treating patients

Private hospitals have been asked to earmark beds and isolation rooms, even as about 50 diagnostic laboratories have got the go-ahead for Covid-19 tests. The National Health Authority, nodal agency for Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme for the poor, has been identified to firm up the protocol and health packages for this section of the population in case India enters the next stage.
