ECMC opens expanded atrium under the sun
Exactly three years to the day that Erie County Medical Center announced a $1 million gift from Russell Salvatore, the hospital on Valentine's Day opened a new front entrance and atrium named for the philanthropist.
The new entrance is part of a larger campus-wide enhancements that include the $58 million emergency and trauma center as well as new windows throughout the Grider Street facility. In all, ECMC is spending more than $100 million on the projects.
