Mayo Clinic expands out of U.S. with Abu Dhabi hospital

Mayo Clinic has long been a destination for wealthy patients from the Middle East who trekked to the Minnesota health care giant for treatment. Now that trip is getting a lot shorter as Mayo launches a 741-bed hospital in the United Arab Emirates. The Post-Bulletin reports on the move by Mayo, which will partner with Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. to open the hospital, called Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.
