Removal of retrievable inferior vena cava filters before discharge: Is it associated with increased incidence of pulmonary embolism?
CONCLUSION
Our results suggest that removal of rIVCFs before discharge once patients are appropriately anticoagulated is a safe strategy to improve retrieval rates.
