DTB Select: Oral or intravenous antibiotics for complex orthopaedic infections?

Summary and context is provided of RCT which concluded oral antibiotics were non-inferior to IV antibiotics with no difference in rate of serious adverse events between regimens. Patients on oral antibiotics had fewer iv-related catheter complications and shorter hospital stays.
