It Is Time

It is time. As I write this, it is Sunday, August 4th. It is the day after 2 mass shootings have taken 29 innocent lives. Two white males have gone on two separate shooting rampages, killing 29 innocent people and injuring countless others, one fueled by pure hate, the other with behavioral health issues. The outcomes, regardless of motive, were equally tragic. Yesterday, I had a completely different editorial planned. But it is time. The hard truth must be addressed.
