Kaiser Permanente workers in Oregon, Washington authorize strike

Workers at Kaiser Permanente in Oregon and Washington voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike beginning in October. If it happens, the strike could be the largest in the U.S. in two decades, involving 80,000 Kaiser workers around the country, according to the Service Employees International Union Local 49.
