A case of low-grade spiradenocarcinoma

Spiradenocarcinomas (SpAdcs) or malignant eccrine spiradenomas are potentially aggressive skin adnexal tumors. They often present as solitary nodules and are classified as low-grade (LG) or high grade (HG) tumors. We review the clinical and histological features of a LG SpAdc in a 57-year-old male and review treatment options for this tumor. Our patient first noticed a small, subcutaneous nodule two years prior to presentation. Over the course of a year, the nodule doubled in size and became darker in color.
