Minutes Till Midnight…

It was exactly just a few moments before midnight when I walked into Wal-Mart last night.  I noticed only one checkout lane was open, but they only had one customer checking out.  I hoped that proved fortuitous for me. Then I realized I could just check out in electronics – the go-to spot for those in the know. I walked straight back to electronics in the rear left corner of the store.  They had The Sims 3 and Skyrim, but not Fallout 3. “You are probably going to have to order Fallout 3 off the internet,” the guy in electronics told me with an air of blasé in his voice.. I refrained from telling him I used to have his job.for fear of small talk.  He rung me up as I swiped my debit card and I was on my way -- making a beeline to the front door. I refrained from installing any of the games when I got home worrying I wouldn’t sleep.  I am going to have some fun after volunteering I hope. I pray my video card will run these games. It is an elder Geforce GTX 260. My previous card was a Geforce 8800 GT. Breakfast for Two… I scrambled some egg’s for Maggie and I this morning.  I also prepared some of Aunt B’s pretty passable biscuits.  It alarms me how fast Maggie will wolf down her food. I always worry she is going to get choked. “Stinker, you didn’t even taste it this morning you ate it so fast,” I told Maggie with much chagrin.
