Centene increases stake in Spanish health care company
Clayton-based managed care company Centene announced Wednesday that it has expanded its stake in Spanish health care company Ribera Salud.
The ownership stake was purchased from Spanish banking group Banco Sabadell. Centene now owns 90 percent of Ribera Salud, up from 50 percent, according to a release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Centene had invested $17 million in July 2014 to buy a noncontrolling interest in Ribera.
