Medical marijuana dispensaries open in Arkansas

Medical marijuana is not yet available in the Arkansas counties of the Memphis metro region, but dispensaries in Hot Springs are now open for business.   The first dispensary in the state to open its doors was Doctor’s Orders RX, which opened May 10. Green Springs Medical, the state’s second dispensary, also located in Hot Springs, opened May 12.  Combined, the two dispensaries sold 35 pounds of medical marijuana from May 10 to the close of business May 15.
