Diabetics may do marginally better with drug-eluting stents
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - After primary coronary angioplasty, diabetics have lower rates of target
vessel revascularization if they received drug-eluting stents (DES) rather than bare metal stents (BMS), a new
paper says.
